  • Oracle Exalogic introduced in 2010

  • It is about application server and hardware, Exalogic is a pre-configured cluster application server.

  • Application tier is used on user end, where it can be accessed by browser.

  • Exalogic is a multiple server mainly used for building blocks in cloud.

  • It uses operating system linux enterprise edition and Solaris.

  •  Exalogic other software’s use
      • Web logic – it is used to host application in server 
      • Coherence – java based software that manages memory 
      •  OEM – oracle enterprise manager is control panel used to manage application and database.
